The place was quiet and the staff were friendly, but the furniture looked old.

The fridge and microwave worked fine, the heating and cooling unit performed well, and the bed was acceptable; the venue I attended was 10 minutes away. I worried the chairs might collapse because their legs were spindly and had been bent before. The pillows were worn out. There was no shelf in the shower for soap, shampoo, or razor, so I had to keep everything on the toilet tank and reach for it while showering. Lighting was just a single bulb in the ceiling fixture. There was no room service, no fresh towels, no coffee, and no ice machine.

The hotel sits in a rough part of town; the staff were great, yet the building itself really needs a major renovation.
