“will be back!”

Volstruis Paleis is a must‑stay with great style, taste, comfort and more, and it’s an excellent value for money. I’ll definitely come back sometime. The only small issue was that communication before arrival wasn’t great, but that’s a minor thing in the otherwise lovely wet, chilly weather of the Little Karoo.

“Hidden gem in Ladismith”

Volstruis Paleis turned out to be a surprising gem in Ladismith. Juliet, the facility hostess, greeted us warmly and escorted us to our unit. Every detail was crafted for a five‑star experience: tasteful fittings, luxurious furnishings, and helpful staff. I’d recommend this place not just as a stopover but as a vacation spot, and it truly exceeded my expectations.

“Beautiful, classy venue.”

We loved staying at this lovely guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The guesthouse is beautifully presented—classy yet comfortable—and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Its location is perfect for exploring the area, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and competent. Everything was well organised, so our stay was completely stress‑free, and the breakfast was wonderful. It’s a warm, welcoming place that I’d gladly return to and recommend without hesitation.

“Good stay in an historical house.”

I stayed in a separate house on the hotel grounds, which was great—very large with generous bedrooms and bathrooms, and the old colonial/historical feel was enjoyable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the larger room lacked plug sockets by the bed.
