We had a very pleasant stay at Vincci Helios Beach Hotel in Djerba; the room was nice, the hotel and its surroundings were always kept very clean, and many staff members offered excellent customer service, though a few could use a bit more training. Almost everyone spoke at least basic phrases in several languages, which was very helpful. The receptionists were especially lovely—happy to listen and help with any concerns. There were no pushy sellers bothering guests, making the stay more relaxing. The sea stayed at a lovely temperature, and the beach was cleaned of seaweed every morning. The swimming pools and overall environment were also clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend the VIP area if your budget allows, as it offers a quieter, less crowded setting that made the stay even more relaxing. The food was very good, with plenty of choices each day, and everything we tried was tasty. This four‑star hotel doesn’t offer premium branded alcoholic drinks, but given the price, it provides excellent value for money. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price. If you’re after good food, a nice beach and sea, swimming pools, a clean environment, and good value, this is a very good option in Djerba. One area that could use improvement is the care of the animals around the hotel; guests should be discouraged from feeding cats in the restaurant and eating areas, as some cats have become comfortable jumping onto tables. The hotel could put up signs asking guests not to feed animals near dining areas, create proper cat shelters and designated feeding stations away from restaurants, and provide donation boxes for guests who wish to contribute to food, vaccinations, and neutering. The same applies to stray dogs around the beach; at the very least, they should be given fresh water. Many tourists love animals, and it’s heartbreaking to see them without proper care, so a simple animal welfare programme would make a very positive impression on many guests.

They cleaned the room, and the waiter Mohamed was at the small pool and security service. The beach. No hot water for a week despite repeated reminders. The bathroom is old. The dispenser swallowed the credit card, leaving us with nothing. The hotel did nothing to help except tell us the card would be sent back to France. We asked to pay contactless instead of cash, but it failed. On‑site activities are scams; the hotel hides behind a private label while still taking commissions for renting the space. The self‑service area looks like a cafeteria. Everything is mediocre or poor. Children use their fingers to serve themselves, hygiene is not great. Another scam attempt after an arrangement between the hotel and the driver. The reservation cost 20 dinars before they asked for 20 euros at the airport pickup.

The staff’s kindness and friendliness, the setting, the view from my room, the location, and the generous, high‑quality meals were all excellent. Nothing to complain about.

The place is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, we enjoyed the private beach, the beach bar and poolside bar, sunrise views right from our room, the activities, and the entertainers—Daïs, Mimo, Jiji, Ali, Amir, Zizou, Sergio—who gave their all to keep us amused, plus the two DJs who kept the evenings lively; on the downside, the rooms lacked enough power outlets near the beds, had no lighting inside the wardrobes, no iron, and the corridors were missing air‑conditioning.
