“stay was not worth the price charged.”

The hotel was close to town centre, but the room door wouldn’t shut properly and I had to slam it to close it. The shower had no pressure and stayed cold even after a couple of minutes; the furniture was broken, the bed and mattresses were uncomfortable, and parking was always 2‑3 streets away, making it hard for anyone with kids, luggage, or elderly guests. The main front door never closed properly, letting anyone push it open.

“Stinky and grim”

The price was the only redeeming factor; I booked it for a Take That show and ended up staying longer than I intended. The online photos were misleading. The building looked run‑down, with extra furniture scattered outside. The front door code didn’t work, so we entered through a side entrance into a kitchen, then walked through a dining/laundry room where a woman—probably doing laundry—was present and a man sat on a sofa. The building smelled like mould, cheese, and cooking fumes. We stayed in a loft that was a million degrees; we had to bring our own fan. The lock was a code lock with flat batteries that were replaced later. The furniture was tired, a chair had three legs, curtains were threadbare and stained. The toilet was surprisingly clean, but the shower had no hot water. The mattress was thin, though the bedding looked clean. The carpet was grim, and the room stank overall. Avoid unless you’re desperate or on a stag do.

There was no TV in the room, the chair was broken, and the accommodation was so poor that I didn’t stay the night and requested a refund.
