We stayed at Sakura Ridge for the first time and appreciated the spotless lodge and the courteous service during our family’s visit. We booked two rooms because my daughter and her fiancé were getting married in Hood River. Chef Brandon’s breakfast was savory and extraordinary; the congee with pea shoots was unforgettable. After the wedding, my daughter and her husband picked blackberries from the orchard garden. The property is off the beaten path from Hood River, so you trade convenience for a true escape from city life to relax. Every morning we woke to a breathtaking view of Mt. Hood. If you’re after serenity and peace, this adults‑only place is perfect.
