The garden is absolutely lovely – lots of green, nice seating, perfect for a relaxed afternoon.

We liked having a microwave in the room and the bed was comfortable, but the room sits right next to a busy road. Morning traffic was noisy, and even though evenings were quiet, I prefer to keep the window open and that means pedestrians walking by the street, plus the blinds have to stay closed and the room gets little sunlight.

The staff were helpful, the garden is beautiful, and the Wi‑Fi and AC worked fine; the beds felt comfy too. On the downside, there were no night‑lights by the beds, the bathroom didn’t let you drain water after a shower, and the kettle would warm water but never bring it to a boil.
