“Horrible !”
The view of Bali and its mountains was amazing, and the pool opened directly onto the sea, which was beautiful. However, the staff were unprofessional; we saw them laying sheets on the sun loungers, singing early in the morning and speaking loudly while cleaning, ignoring residents still sleeping. The kitchen was terrible and grossly unhygienic. Breakfast was very greasy, and the listing claimed a buffet when it was actually à la carte. There was no soap in the shower, only shampoo. Overall, the facilities were worn out, there were leaks in the bathroom, and the place needed a refresh. The pool was poorly maintained and had sewage smells around it and in the bathroom. Doors didn’t close properly. Room 6 was awful; it faced the street, so cars could be heard all night and day, with no soundproofing, and it also opened onto the main corridor, letting us hear other guests. I asked the next day if I could change rooms because they had an opening for a pool-facing room, not a street-facing one. The staff first said it was possible and that they would prepare the room. I told them I’d be packing my things. When my belongings were ready, a staff member came over and told me there would be an extra charge for the room change. I understand price differences, but why tell me after I’ve already packed? That’s not professional, and a goodwill gesture would have been appropriate since we hadn’t slept the previous night due to the noise. They know their service is low quality but do nothing about it. The location itself is terrible, the area is dirty, and it’s not suitable for tourism.
