The place was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The entrance door next to the sofa bed has a glass panel that lets light in; since I slept there, I noticed the light coming through, so it would be nice to have some curtains. But overall, everything was perfect!

We really liked the location! The space itself was unique and cozy. The linens were clean, there were enough beds for our group (5 adults and 2 kids), and the AC worked! It was great to have a little place to rest and relax. Unfortunately the larger bathroom in the lower bedroom had a terrible smell. We kept smelling sewage (like a baked‑up toilet) the whole time we were there. We couldn’t get it to go away or ventilate it. Because we weren’t from the area, we depended a lot on Wi‑Fi to plan our city trips or set up a movie for the girls, and the internet stopped working the first night and didn’t work the next two nights. We asked for help but they also couldn’t make the internet reliable. So plan ahead or bring a phone plan (cell service isn’t great in the basement apartment) for your travel needs. And be prepared to watch Italian TV as an option for kids or adults.

The air conditioning was fine. The shower was broken. There was no washing machine. The toilets didn’t work well. The outlets didn’t work well. The bedding on the bed was not clean. There was humidity and a damp smell. The kitchen equipment was very limited. The light in the hallway bothered the person sleeping in the living room.

The location, cleanliness, and equipment were good. The automatic hallway light was unbearable, especially if you sleep in the living room. The late‑check‑in fees announced after booking were 30 euros at 20:00 and 50 euros at 22:00, which were expensive.

The place is beautiful! Very well decorated. It was cold and there was no airflow.
