The station is close, and even though it's only one floor, the rooms are surprisingly spacious. The room divisions rely only on curtains, no locks, so you can hear the neighbors' conversations clearly.

The cost performance is good, but the large public bath is dirty with a lot of mineral stains, the water was too lukewarm, and people with tattoos were still using the bath even though tattooed guests are supposedly banned.

I liked being able to wash in the large public bath and appreciated the spacious lobby where I could relax, but the water in the big bath was lukewarm and couldn’t keep me in for long.

There was a welcome drink and plenty of manga. The snoring was a bit annoying, but I guess that’s unavoidable.

I'm glad I booked this. The spa was surprisingly affordable for 2 nights ($56), and that's including all the facilities and amenities available. Will book here again if ever I end up in Hamamatsu
