We even had two bedrooms, but no bathroom at all. The motel is centrally located. Breakfast is at the nearby Best Western, where you also check in. Nothing to complain about.

The room was very pretty, clean, and welcoming, with attention to detail. Parking was convenient. The reception was missing; it was a 5‑minute walk to another hotel’s reception. The fridge had no power outlet, which we noticed the morning after arrival. After the shower, there was no hair dryer, so my husband had to walk to the reception.

The location is good, and the staff from the neighboring Best Western Red Hills were helpful and courteous, although there was nobody directly at the Aikens Lodge because of a staff shortage. The shower area urgently needs renovation, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.

“It was not as shown on the internet. They need updated pictures and information.”

It was quiet and clean, but the pool was empty. The online listing didn't say "no pool" – it actually showed a pool. We also had to walk up the street to the Best Western for the continental breakfast and check‑in.

The spot was decent, and the breakfast lady was friendly, but we had to head to a different location for breakfast. It was close, yet the hotel didn’t mention it beforehand, and one morning we had trouble finding a seat.
