I had a great stay at this green and creative hostel filled with plants, colors, and good vibes; the atmosphere is warm and inspiring, and the couple of hosts are generally very helpful and accommodating, doing their best to ease the stay, which is appreciated. They welcomed adorable dogs that are in training. The only delicate point was a conversation with the male host who kindly gave me a motorcycle ride, which I enjoyed. Later, he interpreted my holding onto his hips during the ride—something I thought was simply practical and natural on a motorcycle—as having a particular meaning, bringing up the topic in an unexpected way. I clarified three times that my gesture was neutral, that I simply didn’t know where to hold, and that I felt neither attraction nor desire toward him or any man currently. Despite this, he insisted he sensed “I miss man energy.” For me, that kind of insistence is a mild yellow flag. I would suggest maintaining a strictly professional tone in such exchanges to improve the experience for travelers. Overall, it remains a charming and creative place with great energy, but that aspect could use adjustment.

I had a wonderful stay. The area is beautiful, the people are lovely, and the tour planning was great. Maybe a mosquito net would be nice 😅🙏🏻

If you want a calm, quiet spot to unwind, this is the place. It sits right on the beach, letting you watch sunsets, swim in the ocean, and go barefoot. The hosts, Lal and Denni, are incredibly kind, ready to help or answer any questions, and they also rent bikes, which is great for exploring the city. Nothing negative.
