The hotel sits right in the mall, which is a huge convenience for shoppers, and the staff are incredible—probably the best I've ever seen, making you feel like the only guest. The terrace and bar are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The transfer meets you straight at the plane, which is a massive plus. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast if you’re used to European cuisine; it’s better to eat at nearby cafés. The spa is small, lacks a women’s sauna—only a hammam is available, and the sauna is only in the men’s locker room.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Beijing. The hotel is beautiful. The staff and service are outstanding. The decor and the spacious suites make this hotel even more noteworthy. The staff and management are professional, wonderful, and helpful; they made our stay special. It’s in a great location, right in Beijing. The library, speakeasy, pool, bars, and restaurants are welcoming and relaxing, all popular with great menu options. The hotel and rooms are always clean and welcoming.
