The place was very clean, the rooms were spacious and large, and the staff were nice. The lobby was minimal, so it felt more like a small apartment hotel than a traditional hotel.

The hotel is renovated and the dining room staff are lovely. We arrived with two children and booked a two‑room suite. The children’s room had two single beds and a large window above them that opened onto the open air on the fourth floor, with no safety device to prevent a child from opening it. We immediately informed reception and were told it was a safety hazard. We were told the hotel “meets standards” and nothing could be done. No solution or cancellation was offered, so we had to sleep with the kids and be on guard all the time. The peak moment was when the hotel manager later said, “If you didn’t feel safe, why didn’t you leave?” – although at the time we were not offered a cancellation option. A hotel that advertises accommodation for children of all ages must provide a room safe for them. We will contact the relevant authorities to verify whether a window on the fourth floor above children’s beds truly meets safety requirements.
