We had a very good stay; the place is calm, very well equipped, the reception was perfect, and we were delighted to learn more about the history of the castle’s reconstruction as well as the hosts’ ecological and social project.
An atmospheric and roomy stone apartment in the middle of a beautiful rural landscape. It’s nice to find such a quiet place near hiking paths. A large wooden table was perfect for spreading map sheets and planning new adventures into the mountain wilderness. Also a good variety of cooking facilities.

A quiet cabin immersed in nature near St Girons. A little island of calm and tranquility. The ground‑floor cabin is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped; the bedroom stays perfectly cool in summer. The charm of old stone with modern comfort. David and Alice are very friendly and welcoming. The Miramont roofs breathe peaceful life and tranquility. Special mention for the spacious and comfortable mattress. I hope to return with family and explore the region. If you want to disconnect, it’s the ideal place.

We felt better than at home; the apartment has all the facilities, it’s huge for two people and you can do whatever you want in the kitchen because it’s perfectly equipped, with pretty dishes, glasses, cups, a dishwasher, a big fridge. It’s like being at home. We learned how to use the dry toilet and, although I’m not an enthusiast, it seemed very comfortable. It’s in the middle of a beautiful region where you can do a thousand things, plus the owners guide you and, by the way, they recommended we go to the St Girons market and we loved it. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and for that chateau you’re making look beautiful. We were there in summer with a lot of heat and there was no need for a fan or air conditioning; the house has huge walls that insulate perfectly. If we can, we’ll come back; you’re a charm. No more time to stay there.

Absolute calm to recharge. Very welcoming hosts, a beautiful project in nature. Personally not a fan of the indoor dry toilet.
