Very comfortable and airy rooms, staff and food are great. The road leading to the accommodation could use improvement.

Excellent location—it's in the city centre. The biggest shop, Mzuzu Mall, is a ten‑minute walk, and the market is twelve minutes away. The main bus station is thirty minutes away; another station where local buses depart is only twenty minutes away. It’s best to arrange a car with the hotel so they can pick you up, which I did. The hosts are very hospitable. The hotel is a large, beautiful house on a plot with various lovely plants. It’s very clean, and free Wi‑Fi works well.

The staff at Mphiri Lodge are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.

I was in a great spot, only a 10‑minute stroll from downtown Mzuzu, and the breakfast hit the spot. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and honestly, nothing else went wrong.
