The place was unique, and even with six rooms the house stayed calm and fairly quiet; its location facing the port, easy parking, and proximity to good pubs and restaurants were great. The room was a bit tight when we had two suitcases, but that’s to be expected for a 150‑year‑old house… it should be bigger.

The location was perfect—right downtown with a gorgeous view, gigs everywhere, and shopping nearby. The only downside was the stairs, but it was worth it, and the view was beautiful.

The location offered wonderful views of the harbor, and the staff were very friendly; the room was small but comfortable. The building is old and the walls are somewhat thin, so it’s easy to hear other tenants coming and going.

The reception was very friendly, the breakfast was good, and the mattress was good. We stayed in a mini‑room with a built‑in shower in a wall cabinet and a toilet with a small sink; brushing teeth was possible but shaving was not. In a proper wall cabinet you could fit a trolley and hang a few items. The suitcase had to be placed in the window niche, which meant you couldn’t use the left side of the bed. For one person the 8 m² of this room was okay, but for two people it was a burden. There were no shelves or hanging options, no privacy except at the toilet, and dressing was impossible because there was too little space around the bed.
