The location is good. The shower in the bathroom is loud and the fan makes noise; the fan should be replaced.

“Ideal place for a self-catering holiday in a quiet residential area”

The place is in a quiet residential area, about a 15‑minute walk from the old city entrance in Valletta. It has 4 or 5 rooms, a shared kitchen and dining area, and each guest gets a private bathroom, though the bathrooms are in a separate corridor and not attached to the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, saucepans, etc., and there was plenty of space to eat and relax on comfortable sofas. It’s a great spot for those who want a self‑catering holiday, especially since there aren’t many restaurants or bars nearby; it’s very much a residential suburb. I never saw any of the owners or staff while I was there. They emailed me the day before arrival with instructions on how to access the property and my room, and everything worked smoothly. That was fine for me, but if you need help or more information there won’t be anyone on site to ask. I rented a car for part of my stay. There is no on‑site parking, but it was easy to park on the street outside.

Arrival was easy thanks to the code box. The bathroom is private but not inside the room. It’s a bit damp.
