A friendly greeting, plenty of parking, two supermarkets nearby, a very spacious studio, a comfortable bed, a coffee pot and crockery to make your own breakfast. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but having to enter the car registration on the iPad system at arrival felt a bit intrusive; I guess it’s to prevent illegal use of motel parking, so guests must validate their cars. That first impression was a little off‑putting, but not a deal breaker.

Great, friendly, knowledgeable, and interested staff; comfy super‑king beds; well‑appointed clean rooms; close to supermarkets, Pukekura Park, and downtown New Plymouth. More coffee sachets in the room would be nice – the world needs more coffee!

The owners were very enthusiastic! They recommended local restaurants and sights, letting me enjoy two happy days here. The accommodation was spacious and tidy, making for a comfortable stay.
