The historic mansion was truly stunning, fully restored and in excellent condition, and the room was cozy with a lovely garden view. The location is just a short walk from a lively street packed with restaurants and bars. The shower head was mounted roughly at nose level, making showering a bit awkward, and the room lacked bedside tables, so there was no convenient spot for a phone while sleeping.

A wonderful hideaway amid the city buzz, ideally situated in New Tbilisi and not far from the metro, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, there was no good reading light.

The staff were friendly, the building was beautiful, and the location was convenient. Yet the glowing reviews feel exaggerated. The staircase is lovely with its old murals, but otherwise I don’t see what justifies the price compared to other hotels. Our room was disappointing: the bed was wedged between two walls, only accessible from the bottom, giving a slightly claustrophobic feel. We had a city‑view room, which turned out to be a view of a wall… the room was small and uninteresting. The shower was so low that we couldn’t get under it. We also stayed at the Biltmore, where we had a large, comfortable room with a magnificent city view and a more varied breakfast. The hotel isn’t bad, but the price isn’t justified; it feels like marketing.
