I landed at this place and immediately felt the chill of its cool vibe. The lodges look stunning, and even though there’s no AC, the three fans keep the rooms tolerable. The jungle bathroom is breathtaking, and the staff are super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast turned out to be delicious.

The place is simply gorgeous, with an atmosphere that instantly invites relaxation. The breakfasts are delicious and generous, and the staff are attentive and ready to help. A truly beautiful experience; I’ll definitely return with great pleasure.

For a solo traveler, this spot is perfect, feeling like a family right from the start. The cabins are beautiful and homely. I signed up for a surf lesson package with the drone, which was excellent, and added surf skate sessions with Jack—highly recommend, I had a blast! On a couple of nights, I couldn’t sleep due to the heat and no AC; even with three fans, they just circulated hot air.

The accommodation is wonderful, super aesthetic, with a great pool and jacuzzi. The staff is fantastic, and the south monitors are the best, especially Joshua and Ryan 🙌🏼.

The best part of the hotel is its staff, always with a smile and a very good willingness to help. We’re a family of four and stayed in two of the three bungalows that were operational at the time (the other two were under construction). We had a fantastic stay. The bungalows and the bathroom had everything needed for a short stay. They have a surf school and the place gets lively with the instructors and the young people who come for classes. My daughters did their surf baptism here and the experience was worth it. The atmosphere at Mao Mao Surf is very good; you quickly feel at ease with the staff and other guests. At night we could sleep without noise problems. Lastly, I don’t want to forget the bar (open only until 3pm, a pity) that serves smoothie bowls, shakes, banana pancakes and other dishes that were very good. We missed days to keep enjoying them! Unfortunately, during our stay it was very hot in Siargao, and despite the three fans in the bungalows, it wasn’t enough and we felt the heat. Beyond that, everything else was perfect.
