The place is super quiet and right in the middle of nature, and getting there is a breeze. Tatjana was very friendly and shared great local tips. The last two days we ran out of water—something that apparently happens once every 5 to 6 years, but it was still a big hassle for our holiday. Tatjana and her husband did what they could, and they also found it annoying. The emergency water supply smelled strongly of gas and could only be used for the toilet, which felt uncomfortable. Luckily the pool was still usable. It would be nice to have a big fixed umbrella by the pool; the small ones kept blowing away. A comfortable chair or sofa on the veranda would also have been appreciated.

The private pool and grill were fantastic. The shower lacked pressure.

The pool was great for cooling off from the heat. We stayed in Bungalow No.2 with kids, grandparents, and our dog. The spot was okay, though the bungalow itself was a bit old and worn in places. The pool loungers were plastic and the cushions were missing. The stones around the pool were loose, and stepping barefoot on them could poke your feet. The owner cleans the pool daily. We’ve encountered spiders and scorpions in the pool before, which we removed with a net. There were two small thin umbrellas; when we asked for a larger one, we were given a different foot for the one we bought ourselves. We were told the wind would keep blowing the umbrellas down, and when it was there it was already very stormy. Each person had a plate and cutlery, but no cereal bowl. A coffee machine is available on request. In the bungalow we had three scorpions that we released back outside. The washing machine can be used, but you have to ask first because the door needs to be opened. The service staff were sometimes on site, so you could ask in English. We paid €5 per washing machine. Camp Jelovic is secluded next to a small village in the countryside, about 25 minutes from the sea, e.g., Porec. We could shop well at Lidl in Porec, where there was a wide selection of baked goods. Overall, we liked it there; we stayed 19 days. There are many sights in the area.
