The shower base needed a good clean and the grout around the sink counter was also dirty.

The hotel is starting to feel outdated and poorly maintained. I stayed there three years ago and noticed a clear decline: the fabric chairs in the lobby were dirty with stains, the floor carpet was spotted, there was no mattress protector, one bedside lamp had a burnt bulb, the shower dispenser was empty of liquid soap, the room was 16 °C with a non‑functional radiator (heating only from 15 October), dust was everywhere (kettle, hair dryer, tapware, etc.), ceramic shards on the sink, damaged furniture with dents. I checked out at 10:45 am on Sunday, called and rang at reception to return the key, but no one answered.

One of the few affordable hotels in Granville, quiet, comfortable bed and decent breakfast, but the overall comfort was very basic and pricey for what was offered.
