The hosts were so sympathetic and open, the accommodation was very well kept and clean, the modern rooms had separate sleeping and living areas, the breakfast was phenomenal and everything was lovingly arranged; we felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer, looking forward to seeing them again next year, and there is absolutely nothing negative.

The apartment and bungalow were clean and in a quiet location, the two hosts were very friendly and took good care of us, but unfortunately the pool floor was not visible, the water seemed underchlorinated, which was not great, and there was no air conditioning in either room, making it especially warm at night.

From day one we felt very comfortable; hosts Annemarie and Norbert were very friendly, as was the staff; breakfast was lovingly prepared and we were asked about our preferences for cheese, sausage, muffins, etc.; both supported us with local activities, the pool and loungers with a view were very nice, and I give a strong recommendation.

The owners are super nice and helpful (thanks again to Norbert for the route suggestion to Hermanus); we enjoyed the great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake, felt very comfortable, and have no negatives.

The place was incredibly tranquil, with excellent facilities and a convenient location right next to hiking trails, the beach, canoeing spots, and Island Lake.
