The place was well lit for pets and the pillows were comfortable; the only friendly person was the lady who cleaned the breakfast area that morning we left. Getting in was a nightmare for disabled guests—there’s no ADA button or way to buzz the front desk, and the double‑door vestibule was nearly impossible for my mother because the doors were heavy. When I asked the young man at the front desk about it, he got defensive, claiming he didn’t design the building and wasn’t responsible for the doors, and I sensed he’d heard this complaint before. I asked him to pass my concerns to the manager, but that didn’t happen. The room was decent and fairly clean, yet the bathroom sink had hot and cold reversed, and the shower handle was installed upside down, making it hard to figure out. The front desk staff on the night we checked in were disappointing; the young man was sluggish and didn’t ask how our stay was or offer help. The young lady who worked the morning was polite but not friendly. Half of the landscaping shrubs were dead or dying, so the place didn’t look attractive. I usually like Super 8 motels for their value, but I won’t return to this one in Roseburg.

“Clean and comfortable.”

Spending a night here works if you’re traveling along Highway 5, and staying more than a day lets you explore the surrounding area. The hotel sits in a spot that isn’t walkable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff were nice.

The price was good for two rooms, but the bed was uncomfortable and the rooms felt very bare, empty, and creepy.
