“Great stay in the middle of transportation options and sights.”
The hotel is in the city, modern, and the breakfast is great. The entry door has a large gap at the bottom, letting light from the hall spill in.

When booking, I paid an extra $80 for a premium‑class room on the highest possible floor and asked for two beds. I ended up on a middle floor and had to share a single bed with my 18‑year‑old daughter because the concierge said no other rooms were available. Only one bathrobe and one set of amenities were supplied. Cleanliness was good. Advice: if you pay extra for a “high floor,” clarify with staff which floor is actually high; online booking lets you pay for a high floor but doesn’t guarantee you’ll get one. One evening after an excursion, my daughter and I were hungry; there are no grocery stores near the hotel. The restaurant was already closed—though it wasn’t yet 11:00 PM—and the bar served mostly alcohol. A few pastries were available, but you could only see them after paying about $13. We didn’t want to risk paying for something we couldn’t see.

The shower has a lotus sprayer, the hotel provides umbrellas for use, and the front‑desk staff are friendly. The seats are all on a big slope, and it’s hard to bring luggage to the light rail station with the shuttle.

I liked the restaurant right there; the food was good and the staff was outstanding. Nothing else stands out.

The hotel is a 15‑minute walk from Pike Market and a two‑block walk to the light rail, and it’s close to restaurants. Some of the streets around the hotel are steep.
