The owner was great, very helpful despite the language barrier, and everything was sorted out smoothly. I recommend it. I didn’t like the transport from the parking to the hotel; the bus driver was rude.
“Overall, good value if you don’t mind the noise and no AC”
The spot is central, the place is clean, and the bed was comfortable. The floor rattles a lot when you walk on it, there's no AC, and the street noise is as loud as you’d expect. Check‑in was confusing because nobody was there when we arrived, but check‑out was easy and we could leave our luggage, which was a bonus.
“Great lake view, but squeaky floor”
The spot is unbeatable – right on the lake with tables set up for people to relax, close to the ferries and smack in the middle of the village. The only downside was the old‑fashioned furniture and the floor that squeaks every time you walk, plus the bed creaks and it’s a real annoyance.
“La vue est magnifique”
The location is excellent. The building is old, so there were several spiders in the room. Because we’re afraid of spiders, we left the hotel.
“Sehr zu empfehlen”
We arrived a bit later than planned, yet someone still waited for us even though there was a key safe at the entrance. The reception was friendly, breakfast was consistently plentiful and served with a warm attitude, and if we wanted, we could dine outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The hotel is right on the market, truly very central.
