Situated 11 km from Loughcrew Historical Gardens & Visitor Centre, it's also close to Relagh Beg (8 km) and Moylagh Church and Castle (10 km). The stay was friendly and the place is great.

The locality overlooking the lake was beautiful and close to another hotel where we attended a wedding. The decor is very outdated; the curtains in the room were ripped and the interiors did not match, with clashing patterned carpets, curtains, and chair coverings. Breakfast was very disappointing: we ordered smashed avocado with sourdough bread, but a slice of the sourdough arrived cut in half, tasting fine but very underwhelming. The partner’s fry was excessively greasy and the bacon had a very tough rind, indicating a cheap cut of meat.
