The staff were courteous and the facilities were excellent, and the location was very good. I wish there were more amenities, especially male toiletries like face wash and lotion, and that a smoking area be added for smokers.

The front desk ladies were incredibly friendly, and the futon gave me some of the best sleep I've ever had! The onsen/public bath was a bit tricky at first, but it turned out to be very nice.

We stayed in room 3, which was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We only stayed one night, and the great location made our Kyoto visit very enjoyable—close to a station and right in the middle of the Gion district (beautiful). Highly recommended! Nothing noteworthy to mention.

I loved the onsen and the location was easy to get to. The windows in the room were a bit fiddly and complicated, but overall the rooms were comfortable.
