Overall, the place felt clean. However, the meals lacked oil.

The kotatsu was great, it’s isolated from the city yet close to the station, but there are no buses or taxis.

Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious and plentiful, and the staff were very kind.

The inn felt very cosy, and the staff were super friendly. I mentioned that I only understand a bit of Japanese, and she patiently explained the check‑in procedures in Japanese at a slow pace. A large carpark sits right in front of the inn. Breakfast was nice—very traditional Japanese. The onsen was great too!
