“Bien pero podría mejorar”
I liked the old‑style space and the quietness. The shared bathroom was a drawback; the people from the neighboring room used it for hours straight, so I couldn’t shower before bed.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which made checking in a breeze. Unfortunately, our room faced the street and the traffic noise was pretty constant, so we couldn't sleep well. Overall, the service saved the stay despite the noisy room.

The building itself looked decent, but the owner and the manager were a real disgrace. I escaped another hostel thinking this would be a safe spot, yet the people who were after me turned up here, and when I was hurt in an early‑morning attack nobody—especially the owner Elba—seemed to care. The place went from busy to almost empty while I was there, so I left as soon as I could. I'm grateful to a women's‑rights secretary who later helped me, but I can’t recommend this hostel.

Mrs. Elva was genuinely warm and made us feel welcome, and the whole place had a special vibe—great décor and spotless rooms. It was a pleasant stay overall.

Doña Elba took great care of us, treating us like family and making the place feel like home. Her attention really stood out.
