Lubbock's a pretty compact city, so the hotel's location is a real plus

“Won’t do it again.”
The shower head had terrible pressure and looked clogged, so I couldn’t wash my hair. The room itself was nice and the bed was comfy, but the awful shower made me feel gross and ruined the stay. The shower could have worked, and the elevator felt a little sketchy.
“Very nice for a quick overnight.”
The site was super clean and quiet, but we were told we’d have electricity at Buffalo Springs in a tent and there was none. We’re in our 70s and need AC when it’s above 80°F; we had a portable unit that needed power. We got a refund from the park and ended up staying in a motel for the night. A faint curry smell lingered in the hallway – I’m not a fan of any cooking odors. The “free” breakfast was just average, almost inedible; I don’t understand why they keep this up instead of cutting the room rate or offering a $5 off coupon to a nearby diner so guests can get a decent breakfast elsewhere.
It was easy to find, but the price was high for a hotel of that class.
“The person at the front desk was very rude and could not speak English! And when we try to get sleep the a/c would n”
Nothing positive to note. The room was hot, the AC barely cooled, and the hallway had a bad smell.
The bed was comfy, but the pool was broken and the vending machine didn’t work. There wasn’t much activity, and the site was basically a family’s home.
