The courtyard was pretty, the welcome was warm, and when we arrived for dinner we were invited to the family table. The breakfast varied daily, and cleanliness was on point. The room was simple (authentic, too) and the bed was very firm, which some might appreciate. You must pay in dollars and, if possible, with new bills; the host was very meticulous about this and refused some older ones.

The garden was great, the staff were excellent, and the food was good. The room was a bit cramped.

A historic family palazzo with a charming green courtyard garden where we could unwind after the tours. The staff were extremely friendly. One of the two owners studied German literature and speaks fluent German, and she could tell us a lot about the history and present of Samarkand and Uzbekistan.

Lovely family guesthouse. The courtyard was a great spot to have tea and relax. Nothing else to complain about!
