This guest house, while a bit away from the tourist sites in Edinburgh, is a really good choice for visitors to this very busy city. It is more in a neighborhood, but is cozy, comfortable, extremely clean, and has a delicious breakfast served per order each morning. There are a few really great neighborhood pubs close by and we found , “The Bell” to be our favorite at just 1/4 mile away. Easy walking. The host here is informed, very involved, lives on site, and very helpful. You can’t really go wrong here. The property was a bit far away from the normal tourist sites, but also quieter and less expensive than places closer in. You can’t go wrong here. It’s easy to get an Uber anywhere

A very nice, cozy family‑run inn in a quiet area. Extremely friendly, accommodating hosts, tasty breakfast, a comfortable room with a pleasant bed and garden view.

The place was clean, comfortable, and the staff were nice. The stairs were steep, but Simon would have helped if we needed it.
