Having a private open‑air bath that you can use at any time and an ocean‑view room made the stay very comfortable; I ordered extra dishes and, although a bit greedy, everything was fresh seafood and absolutely delicious, so the food was a big hit. The building isn’t too large, making it easy to get to the large public bath and the restaurant. A few days before arrival I asked about the room rate and the menu, but the answers varied depending on who answered the phone, and I wish they’d listen more closely to what I need. It took a while to get my dinner order sorted because of the way a male staff member handled it.

The onsen ryokan was truly wonderful, with excellent service and meals that were clearly prepared with care; there’s an underground swimming beach that makes it perfect for a family trip. Because it’s near the sea, the menu leans heavily toward seafood, and adding a few meat dishes would make it even better.

I loved that the room came with its own open‑air bath. It would be nice to have a dedicated rack for hanging a wet bath towel, not just the regular towels.

The open‑air bath was fantastic. I was uneasy because the bath was visible from outside, and I worried that early‑morning swimmers might see me, so I couldn’t relax fully.
