Daily cleaning was consistent, and the friendly staff offered solid support whenever we needed it; the hostel always buzzed with good energy and a welcoming vibe, and the sister‑hostel’s pool was perfect.

We enjoyed a great stay in the “apartment” room, located across the road from the hostel’s pool, and could use all the hostel amenities like the shared kitchen and activities; we rented bikes for 3500 colones (about $7 USD, which turned out cheaper in USD after we realized it too late), the private bathroom had hot water, and the room featured air‑conditioning and a small balcony terrace with chairs and a hammock. However, the pool was noisy with kids that day, and the kitchen was crowded one night with people leaving their pots on the stove, blocking others.
