The hotel feels welcoming, and I especially liked how friendly and helpful the staff were—always attentive and polite. The central location is a major plus, making it easy to explore the city and hit the main sights. Daily housekeeping was thorough, too. Still, there are areas that could use some work. I mentioned the issues to the receptionist, who was kind and explained that a new owner had recently taken over and that improvements are planned. The room I got didn’t have a real window, so I couldn’t ventilate the space unless I opened the door‑window at the entrance. The listing on Booking calls it a “room with balcony,” but the balcony is actually a shared landing that also leads to other rooms; it would help to update that description to avoid misleading expectations. The air‑conditioning unit is old, can’t set a temperature, and the wall fan is pretty loud. Because of this, we struggled with the heat during our stay, especially since we couldn’t cool or ventilate the room effectively. The bathroom also shows age: the shower siphon has a worn seal, the shower tray is stained and has chalk deposits that give a sense of neglect. These details might be minor on their own, but together they don’t feel up to the standards expected of a four‑star property, even for a basic room.

It was really unique exciting and original. The rooms were really clean. The location was fantastic next to a great panini place and close to the restaurants cafes and beach. 1.I wasn’t sure about the access to the rooms at first being out doors but that is typical of Sicily and was actually good.2. We couldn’t leave our luggage there between check out and the taxi picking us up but it wasn’t the hotel’s fault as the left luggage storage in town place was closed on that day

not much, the hotel stuff was so annoying that we couldn't enjoy the stay. and that in a 4* hotel. the staff was very judgmental and doesn't respect the wish for privacy
