Earlier check‑in was possible for a small fee and the staff were friendly; the room was clean on arrival and the location is great with plenty of free parking. However, a horrible drain‑like odor wafted from the bathroom at night, probably because the windows were open during the day and masked it. When we returned around 11 pm the stench was at its worst and lingered all night, ruining our sleep, and the toilet seat was broken.

The place was convenient for our needs, but it felt more suited to tradesmen. The bathroom and shower offered low water pressure and could use a bit more cleaning. Breakfast was adequate, though the service was slow even after we requested an early meal because of the Le shuttle booking. The clientele was very rowdy, creating a slightly uncomfortable vibe. Remember to register your car or you’ll get fined; parking is limited on site and operates on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

The hotel was lovely, with excellent and friendly staff—especially Calum, who greeted us warmly upon arrival and was a real highlight. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and the hotel’s location was ideal for exploring the local area. No real negatives to mention.
