My stay at Campament Kansala was great and an experience I’ll remember fondly. More than just accommodation, it’s a family that opens its doors and lets you fully immerse in the Casamance region’s culture through music, dance, art, and reflection. Bamba and his family care for you and make you feel at home from the first moment. The place is spectacular, surrounded by nature and in an ideal setting to disconnect, find tranquility, and enjoy the moment. If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming, and different place where you don’t just sleep but truly live a cultural experience, Campament Kansala is definitely highly recommended. An experience that goes far beyond simple accommodation.

Beautiful natural setting with a warm atmosphere. We stayed with 8 people, spread across 3 rooms, for 2 nights. The location is stunning: plenty of shade, beautiful trees, and quietly situated right in nature, also within walking distance of the beach. A lovely place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated that our car received a quick wash spontaneously. The cultural singing around the fire in the evening also gave a warm and authentic feeling. Regarding comfort: some mattresses were very good and lay perfectly, others could use a refresh. Breakfast on the first morning was well prepared and fully in order. The second morning’s offering was however more limited. No omelet was provided and breakfast mainly consisted of fruit and chocolate. That was a bit less than expected for our group. Overall, a pleasant stay in a beautiful place, with a nice vibe and friendly staff.
