The hotel is pretty and clean, with spacious rooms and cheerful drawings at the entrance. Esteli herself isn’t very engaging, and the food at the hotel wasn’t great—the spaghetti sauce was bland, but the Chinese rice was okay.

The location is excellent and the apartments are very well equipped.

The hotel sits a few blocks from the main shopping strip, so many restaurants and stores are nearby. The room was comfortable and the neighborhood stayed quiet during my stay. Be prepared to pay an extra $24 for the AC remote—nothing huge, but it caught me off guard. Breakfast options vary with staff; on the first morning two young ladies were working and I could choose from several fresh items, but the next morning a different manager ran the service and I only got a bowl of fruit, yogurt, and granola. It wasn’t a big deal, just unexpected compared to the first morning.

The location is very convenient, with secure covered parking and the typical friendly staff you’d find in most northern hotels. The room layout suits family stays, so I highly recommend it.

I loved everything! The room was huge, bright, spotless, and brand‑new. The bathroom matched that description – large, clean, and I have no complaints at all. The shower pressure was perfect and the water was genuinely hot, which is the only hotel in Nicaragua that manages that. Breakfast was excellent; on our last day we left early but they still gave us a yogurt with fruit, honey, and granola that even my husband, who isn’t a yogurt fan, enjoyed. They also let us check in at 11 am and the room was ready. They even helped us set up a tour of the tobacco factories, and I can’t recommend the guide enough. Nobody spoke English, but that actually helped me practice Spanish :)
