The location was great, and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good, and we had a very comfortable stay. On first appearances the hotel seemed dated, but the comfort and excellent staff made up for it.

A very nice, family‑run hotel in a quiet setting. After visiting Pitlochry, a pleasant walk brought us to the hotel. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere, a cozy bar area, and attentive staff who were not intrusive. I appreciated the small touches, such as receiving two small bottles of water and a snack each day. The tables were beautifully set with tablecloths, and the warm part of the breakfast was freshly prepared. We stayed in a very nice, large room with a big bathroom in the main building. It was a bit cold, so when we asked for an extra heating source in the bathroom, they provided one—thanks again for that.

A large, comfortable room with clean bedding. The location is very good—you can walk into town quickly. Breakfast was also good, offering everything you could wish for. The accommodation feels a bit dated, but it remains clean.
