Camping HOCHoben - ONLY EMPTY LOTS

I loved the spot—everything was clean and the area is great, but I wish there had been a kitchenette.

I spent a family holiday there in August; the camp sits in a beautiful spot at the foot of the mountains, very high above sea level. The town centre is close because the village itself is small, and the scenic mountain trails are nearby. In the enclosure there were goats that delighted the kids, and a long fun‑ride where they could slide down. The bathrooms were new, clean, and cleaned daily. There was nothing to attach to. We really liked it, except that the weather at that altitude isn’t always favourable – it rained a lot. When we descended to another town, the sun was shining and a few degrees warmer, but that’s normal :) A big plus for the place.

The location was beautiful, surrounded by trails, a restaurant, and a charming town. All the positives. Reception was super, perfect English. The towel and clothes dryer and the large fridge were very helpful. A few tables and benches that you could bring under a tent were very useful. The price was a bit high even for a used tent site 😄 – there is no fence, so you have to be careful with children or dogs.

I liked the overall quality of the camp and its location. The silence and friendly approach were great. Nothing else to mention.
