Aurora on the Dunes- Cozy Coastal Retreat with Scenic Views

The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the lounge fire kept the lounge area very warm; it was close to a beautiful beach, dogs were allowed, the location was quiet, and a short drive took me to town. The outside area felt a bit shabby—patio, furniture, and grass were lacking—and the shower water pressure was very bad; the table was heavy and difficult to move at every mealtime.

“Fine for a short overnight. Be prepared to pay a deposit outside of your booking”

Walking to the beach was easy, but there was no heat; the fireplace in the living room wouldn’t work and it was the only heat source. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children.

“Very disappointing”

The master bedroom had a heater and was close to the beach. However, the first thing you notice outside the caravan is weed and cigarette butts. Inside, the curtain was torn, a screw was stuck in the doorknob, the sofa was sticky, torn, and dirty, dishes, pans, trays, and cracked glasses (we bought four new ones) were everywhere, a cracked dustpan had a hole, there was no plug for the sink, a puddle of soap in the shower, a rusty curtain rod and curtain, and a worn coffee table.

“Awesome”

Everything. Location was awesome. Place was clean. Everything was there. I had to be extra careful when getting out of bed and walk along and not to take the curtains and blind with me. But that wasn't an issue. That was bearable

“We would definitely book again!”

The place was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and most importantly, was dog friendly. All good.
