“Vielleicht doch lieber ein Hotelzimmer nehmen”
The spot is great for catching the ferry, and sleeping on a sailboat was a unique experience; the host was easy to reach and spoke English. The back‑and‑forth with the host was exhausting, and key details about getting onto the boat only came up when we asked, though he was still friendly and helpful. The boat heated up quickly and only cooled down after hours of airing out; the smell was unpleasant, especially near the toilets, which stayed stinky the whole time and we couldn't fix it. One bathroom’s drain was clogged or broken, forcing us to use the other; the shower only works for people about 1.5 m tall because of low ceilings. The toilets were only for small business, and if I’d known we’d have to use a semi‑public toilet and shower on the harbor grounds (no soap on the men’s toilet), I wouldn’t have booked. All areas on the boat were heavily taped, raising doubts about cleanliness, and organic waste had to be taken off the boat yourself. The nearby bar made it very noisy until late at night, so close all hatches! Two people fit fine, but larger groups will quickly run out of space. The double bed was also tight for two; the footboard was about 80 cm wide, the top was slightly better at about 140 cm. For roughly 100 € per night I expected a clean, odor‑free place with a working shower and toilet, which wasn’t the case, so I can’t recommend it.
