The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff were attentive, picked us up from the station, and we could store our luggage after check‑out. It’s not very central, but Aguas Calientes is small and you can reach the train and bus stations to Machu Picchu in under 10 minutes.

The facilities were decent. Towels, soap, and shampoo were provided in sufficient quantity. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast is okay but nothing extraordinary. The location is a bit out of the way, which isn’t necessarily a drawback because everything is within a 10‑minute walk. The breakfast is a bit one‑sided for a European.

Breakfast was very basic, but it included fruit. The view of the mountain is lovely. The staff were very uncommunicative, hardly speaking at all.

The spot is great, super quiet, and the staff are amazing, but the entrance alley looks a bit tattered, though inside everything was perfect.
