The historic building was wonderful, and the rooms were very nice with a rich and varied breakfast. The staff gave useful tips about hiking trails and restaurants. The bathroom was tiny, though it was really beautiful, and you could smell the oil heating outside.

“Superb place to stay”

The mansion was beautifully renovated, and our room had many interesting features that highlighted the original construction. It was very clean, and the sheets and towels smelled great. The bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up in the morning! The shower had great water pressure and was enclosed. Dimitra, who worked the staff desk, was lovely—always cheerful and happy—and helped us organize sightseeing for the day. I loved Dilofo; it was the smallest of all the Zagori villages we visited, and most houses still kept their original character instead of looking newly built. I’m very happy we chose to stay in Dilofo for our trip to Zagori. The room was quite dimly lit, and there was only one plug outlet near the bedside table, so I had to choose between plugging in the lamp or my mobile phone. It would be useful to have multi‑plug adapters for the bedside outlets.

The property was beautiful inside with wonderful decor. The staff was excellent and attentive. The breakfast had many items: pies, breads, cold cuts, yogurt , eggs , omelets, cakes etc. You park at the entrance to the town. It would be difficult getting a large suitcase down the cobblestones
