“Great staff, tired looking room”
The staff were amazing! The rooms were very tired, especially the bathroom in room 109, which was below an acceptable standard.

The staff were professional and friendly, and the breakfast selection was great, with a nice front‑of‑house team. The location was excellent. Unfortunately, a four‑star hotel should not have a room with damp stains, peeling plaster in some spots, or a bathroom door also affected by old dampness; the property probably needs a renovation.

Staying overnight to visit family was the perfect location for us; everything was tip‑top. I would definitely stay again. The only downside was no TV signal, but I had my tablet, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Dinner was expensive and poorly presented. The scallops were undercooked and my lamb was overcooked, even though the table service said it would be served pink.

The hotel was easy to access. The Public Terrace, Lounge, and restaurant were very nice and clean. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were pleasant and well equipped. The spa area/pool needed a refresh, with some areas looking positively dirty. Food was okay, but a few dishes we ate were very overcooked.
