“Do not go here, it’s not worth the time and money”
I wasn’t a fan of the place at all. When we first got the room, the security latch was broken in half and the hardwood floor was filthy. After the manager inspected, we got a new room, yet the latch was still broken—just not in half—so it worked, but a dead roach was right in the entryway. Early in the morning, some staff asked what room we were staying in out of the blue. Later, the manager stood at the elevator door as we left, kissed us, and said “none off that in the elevator,” which I thought was a joke, but later that evening around 6 PM he came to our room and accused us of having full-on intercourse in the public pool the night before, claiming we couldn’t extend our stay. We insisted we had no such activity and that the allegations were false. He said we might get a DNR if he escalated it to the District Manager. Two people were watching us in the pool that night, and several other guests walked by, including a couple who laughed with us while we were swimming. I was extremely dissatisfied, checked out that night, and stayed at the Red Roof Inn next door.
