“Would stay again at that price”

The location was lovely, the restaurant room was well decorated, but the mattress and pillows were not great quality. The room itself was very clean, yet the hallways needed a good vacuum.

Evening staff were amazing and the food and bar were great. The room entrance was very tatty, the room felt tired, and the bathroom needed refreshing, but overall it was comfortable and offered great value for money.

“Picturesque gastro pub let down by spongy beds”

The old thatched building was lovely, nicely decorated, with a decent‑sized room and a good shower area. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent; the pub served good quality food and there was plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the mattress was very uncomfortable—soft and lumpy, and the thick topper made it worse.

The staff were incredibly kind, the rooms comfortable and fully equipped, and the exterior was cute. The door of our room (2) creaked quite loudly; it wasn’t a big deal, but we worried about disturbing other guests when we came back late at night.
