“Beautiful cosy 2-3 bedroomed house close to Reinosa for a walking holiday.”
The house and garden were beautiful, offering pleasant walks, and the host was friendly; the kitchen had a large fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. I enjoyed breakfast on the patio outside. The location is close to Reinosa and small towns with live entertainment for the 15th August celebrations, and the tourist information office in the carpark to the west of the village offers maps and places to visit (with an interactive walking app available for download). Local restaurants serve a three‑course meal with wine and water for 18–22 euros per person. The only downside was that there was only one sofa in the lounge, suitable for 2–3 people; an extra soft chair would have been nice. The bedrooms were cozy, but no fans were available during the heat wave—though temperatures dropped to about 18 °C by 11 pm, so sleeping was fine. English was not widely spoken, so I had to rely on translator apps (not a criticism of the place, but of my own preparation).
