“Einfach wundervoll”
The food was lovingly prepared, very clean, and exceptionally friendly.
I booked on a whim because nearby hotels were fully booked; the hotel is very quiet and close to the hiking spots I had planned. The décor is authentic and warm, and the staff are very friendly. Several terraces are set up for relaxing and sipping drinks from a self‑serve bar (coffee, wine, soft drinks). It’s a family‑run place. It isn’t a conventional hotel like the ones I usually stay at. Each guest has their own habits and expectations. The listing on Booking was missing details, so I was surprised there was no housekeeping and that towel changes were only available on request. The reception closes on Saturdays. Breakfast was a bit minimal: cheeses, poached eggs, yogurts, excellent bread, cornflakes, jam, honey, butter, a fruit basket, fruit juice, but no cold cuts. The cheeses weren’t labeled, which is a shame because you can’t tell what you’re eating.
